I live in Pottsville PA, and am having more & more price and freshness issues with my usual bottle shop. Any suggestions out there in BA land for other options. Thinking between Harrisburg & Allentown W-E, & Berwick & Lebanon N-S. Cheers!
Mari's 6 Pack in Reading is a good spot. Little closer for you perhaps. I have found some great beers there. Also check out Liberty Taproom in Reading. If you're going as far as Allentown, just extend a few more miles for Abe's in Bethlehem, best shop in the Lehigh Valley.
It's the best shop I've ever been in really. Some freshness issues, but with that many hundreds of beers it's gonna happen. They get in a lot of random great stuff though that I don't expect, so I always find myself dropping by to check. Getting Fou Foune and Saint Lam there this year was a huge bonus. Obviously those sell out almost instantly, but it's a great shop overall.
