I have access to way more east coast beers than west coast beers. The beers I have access to are, in a word, awesome. Would I enjoy the west coast beers I cannot get even more? Perhaps. But ignorance is bliss (as is saving the money I'd need to be able to trade for said west coast beers).

I think this a troll post, but I'm biting anyway...

You have experience living in one state on the west coast and one state on the east coast and you think you got it all figured out for an entire country/continent?

If you lived in England and then lived in the Czech Republic does that mean you know everything about beer drinking in Europe?

To fair to the rest of the east coast, Tennessee ain't exactly a mecca for beer.

And by the same token I'm sure San Diego or Portland, OR probably don't want to be judged by the beer available in Alaska.

I'm in the middle. They are different but I like them both.

Maybe the title should be "Why I like fresh beer".

I think Bud brewed in Fairfield is far superior to Bud brewed in Merrimac. West Coast, West Coast!!!

It's like how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop, the world will never know. The debate continues East vs West. I like beer from all over I will say that I've had some awesome west coast beer but I'm not ready to crown a champ.

I don't understand why people come on here and bash people who ask questions and are trying to understand things. I think it's an interesting question: East vs. West. Is there a right answer? No. But it makes for interesting dialogue. Why are you assholes on this board anyway?

In my opinion, I prefer the West coast beers to the East coast overall. It's all about your palate. What you are into or not. Living in Florida, and visiting many west coast states, I DO have tried many, many different styles and breweries. The East coast offers dozens of fantastic beers! As I said, though, West Coast is it for me.

And re-reading my post, I realize that I said, "I DO have tried", which is not correct or proper. Hopefully, you get the point, and will refrain from bashing just to get attention.

Thank you, but I was trying to make a point. I love coming here. Seriously. Sometimes, however...
