I don't see a recent thread about this (didn't do an exhaustive search, but anyway....) so I'll ask - what's some good pairing ideas for Easter dinner? Say ham, some over-cheesed potato concoction, green bean casserole, corn and mashed potatoes y gravy. I have usually gone with Weihenstephaner Hefe for dinner but thinking about stepping up the class a little and going with the Kristallweissebier instead. Anyone have any other ideas? What's your game plan?
Ham - Wee Heavy Scotch Ale, Big Belgian Strong Dark and/or quad I like Goudon Carolos Easter beer as well... had it with a mulefoot one year and it was fantastic... old thread and pics of mine from back in the day Russell Brewing - Angry Scotch Ale by imbibehour, on Flickr Easter 2012 - Gouden Carlous by imbibehour, on Flickr
I have a HW Bourbon Cru sitting around that was looking for a good reason to get drank, Easter dinner sounds like as good a reason as any, right?
