Usually keep it light and basic style-wise on Easter. Picked up these two today.

Bock Beer was long an Easter traditional in the US (until seasonal drift had Bocks being released in January).

Bock Bock? Because Easter Bunnies lay eggs?

That Schmaltz beer is perfect then:

I was told to bring wine, as my contribution to dinner. I might split the difference with a gose.
Evil Twin Mission Gose? (I'll probably do wine + [xxx]) MUST_FOLLOW_INSTRUCTIONS ; )

We are going to brunch at a friends house and they don't drink. :slight_frown: For dinner maybe grilled leg of lamb or beef rib roast. With dinner I'll probably have red wine, but before and after IPA or DIPA. I'm stuck on Bell's Two Hearted lately, but I also have a stash of Surly Abrasive Ale I think I may break out. I might pick up some Avery Raja or Founders Centennial for the day.

Deschutes River Session Ale for me, a nice golden ale as smooth as a baby's butt.

This right here. There won't be any 2016 on shelves this year, but leftover 2015 will be around.

I'm excited about the Gerookt - the base beer is so good, it makes for interesting riffing, like the gin-barrel Zymatore version.

Going on a small beercation (beachcation is how I sold it to the wife!) over Easter with the family, so I'm looking forward to getting into a mess of new to me beers.

What did Jesus drink when he arose? Probably a Weihenstephaner since that brewery was around back then haha.

I am going with 400 Divine Rabbits from Greenbush, Equinox from Lagunitas, and then probably Monster barleywine from Brooklyn (just found some 2012 at store in a very small city on my drive back to my hometown) to sip as I relax and watch some Elite 8 action.

Easter isn't for about a month for me, becasue I'm greek orthodox, but when it does Im gonna go with a Brooklyn Brewery sorachi ace. The lemon and dill that exist in greek cooking work perfectly with it and there's enough character to go with lamb as well
