Michael, I have wanted to try any of the Pipeworks IPA's for a while as well as the Daisy Cutter. Haven't had Dreadnaught in a couple of years. In the Name of Suffering sounds interesting as does Sinister. BCBS always need more of that. The Teku.... I don't need to say anything about how fucking cool that thing is as well as the coasters. Dark Lord, I only had one from 2012 and I sent it to Liquiddegenerate in the Secret Santa BIF so I get it back here, how cool is that? I hope your incredible generosity gets payed forward from your Easter bunny.

I have not shipped yet, in fact I'm not even done shopping for my target but I will start putting up some hints in the near future.

Looks like its time to go shopping/to the cellar

Someone from BA has already unknowingly (at the time) thwarted one of my plans for my target

 

No problem bud. The hoppy stuff is super fresh. Unicorns Revenge was bottled last Thursday, Daisy Cutter last Tuesday, and we all know FFF doesn't bottle date but I'm pretty confident the Dreadnaught is <2 weeks too. I just pick up the FFF from the brewery Sunday.
Definately get on that Pipeworks beer, it's crazy good.

My target's box is supposed to land today. It's going to be snowing here later today but my target doesn't have to worry about snowy weather, just sunburn.

 

Hints:

1. I'm packing my target's box today & it'll be headed to a place I do not speak of.

2. My target's box will contain mostly "wants," including B.Note of course.

3. The chances of my target posting a picture of their haul is very slim.

 

Hint: this is the box and my target will get a sweet 12 bottle shipper.

i LOVE those shippers because you can fold them up and pack them in your suitcase allowing you to bring back even more beer when you travel!

 

Hey, you can't tell much from that pic...that was on purpose...plus, another hint...my target won't even look at this picture.

 

Anyone else struggle with swag? I'm just not a big swag guy, so I just never know what to add. I think I'm over-thinking this. Does the bottle-shipper count as swag & can I just throw in extra beer? What are the rules of "swag?"

 

Just sent out my targets box. Heading East of me and contains some hoppy goodness, some stouty goodness....and some stouty goodness that saw time in a barrel. If one of these beers were alive then it would probably have trouble sleeping...

I personally think nice, well made packing materials is definitely swag. If they can re-use it, and it means they dont have to go buy some additional supplies, then it certainly counts. FWIW, Mike sent my FFF teku to me in an individual box shipper I used to tripple-box his Secret Santa box.

K, final hint: I'm REALLY tempted to send a UofM shirt as my swag.

 

I save pretty much every box ive ever received including the packing material. I have never bought a box

 

Me neither. I need to quit keeping them, as I can get great (and free) materials from work. My room where the cellar is has boxes and boxes of packing materials and boxes in various states of disrepair. they get cut down to use for extra walling in the good boxes.

 

My target's box has been delivered. Wonder if my target's dog(s) goes as nuts as mine does when FedEx guy is there?

 

So your target doesn't post pics of his BIF hauls and doesn't look at hints.
