    I'm pretty sure I have seen a couple of bottled in Greensboro - maybe Gate City Growlers, Beer Co, or Bestway as the likely candidates for where I saw it.

    Also might have seen a bottle in Winston-Salem at Stella Brew.

    Saw a rumor today that Sam Jones is opening a place in Raleigh.

    omg please, can you link said rumor?. While the Triangle does have some great bbq (Backyard BBQ Pit, Picnic, Allen And Son) there is nothing on the level of Sam Jones/Skylight.

    Have heard this same rumor from an individual who told me Burial was coming to raleigh months before the announcement! Can.Not.Wait!

    Anyone know anything about what's going on with Casita? It was just announced today that Casita is distributing Hill Farmstead in the state with events starting on Friday at State of Beer. I was under the impression a brewery couldnt distribute others beers (especially after the whole Green Man debacle).

    They're permitted as a "Malt Beverage Wholesaler" in the state according to the ABC, and Hill Farmstead is their only "Authorized" brand. I don't know how it all works, but it does.

    The Casita/Hill Farmstead collab Southward was brewed at Hill Farmstead, so it makes sense that Casita would have to get the distribution rights for Hill Farmstead approved in NC to carry that beer. Although it is unlikely to be a regular thing, I suppose that opened the door for Casita to distribute Hill Farmstead beers if the occasion arises. Speaking of which... Looks like they'll be tapping a keg of Arthur at the Casita Cerveceria anniversary party this weekend.

    By now Casita should maybe have their own thread, but I’ll just bring this one up from the depths.

    I really loved Nutella. Maybe because my expectations were very neutral (no idea why, they always make such great beer) but I found it perfectly balanced and delicious. I still rank southward and querido above it, but it was great nonetheless!

    Really looking forward to this next release of their 10% triple ipa, already imagining how good it’ll be.
