The easiest to drink with the highest abv beer I've had is Resin, but my favorite is probably Sculpin. It goes down SO smooth, and tastes so great, and with no discernable alcohol at 7%.

I was going just going to post that...good call.

Another is DH Scotty Karate. It goes down like water (9.75%).

Saisons are sneaky. A Tank 7 doesn't taste like it is over 8% by any stretch of the imagination.

The easiest drinking 'non-bitter' beer that I've had to date would have to be Picaroons Winter Warmer, a local brew. It comes in at 8% and is in the style of an English Barleywine. It's very smooth and with notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. Surprisingly easy to drink.

    HE SAID NON-BITTER.

    Meaning no IPA's!

(probably should have put that in the title though)

Okay OP, you want a non-bitter, easy drinking beer over 6%? Wait, let's make that over 13%, shall we? Because I'm finding this year's vintage of Firestone Walker Sucaba to be ridiculously easy drinking. If you like barleywines, then this is a fantastic choice.

Of course, one would have to FIND a bottle of Sucaba in the first place... :stuck_out_tongue:
