The Stone go to IPA is great at 4.5% abv. Plenty of hop flavor and a fair amount of bitterness. Although mid-palate the flavor sort of hits the brakes and stops. I suppose that's what can occur when it's only 4.5%.

the easiest in my stash would likely be evil twin falco.... that goes down way too easily. would be a wonderful gardening beer.

Fine, it's still 7%, but that's pretty much the lowest I go. I generally don't do sessionable brews.

A decent session mild or bitter which by definition are easy drinking (you wouldn't get pople to drink pint after pint if it wasn't)
This gorgeous stuff is only 3.4% ABV but you wouldn't believe that if you tried it.This by the way is an unfinished pour, the glass was initially filled and I was invited to take a couple of swigs to make room for a full pint. The pub sells beer not foam and the glass was topped up.

St. Bernardus Abt. Slightly over your ABV cap, but I can drink it all day.

Another vote for Founder's All Day IPA (maybe that's why it's called that?). I also like Southern Tier Phin & Matt's Extraordinary Ale, which is probably the first "craft beer" I discovered a few years ago.

Almost time for summer wheat pale ales. Thinking ST Hop Sun and Peak's Summer Session for those of us in the Northeast. Looking forward to Bell's Oberon when in NY this summer as well.
