    I recommend:

    Kona Longboard Lager
Hoegaarden (not too flashy I must say, but it does a nice job)
    Weihenstephanner Original
    Ayinger Brau-Weisse
Finally, one of my personal and easily accessible favorites, Deschutes Mirror Pond. Man, that stuff is great.

Just had it the other night but Mr. Pineapple was pretty solid. Good on a hot summer day by the pool.

I also regularly drink The One They Call Zoe (Hops and Grain) and Peacemaker (Austin Beerworks) during the summer

    1) More. When it's warm out, more beer is what's called for.

    2) Saison. This beer style was designed for warm weather. One can never go wrong with Hennepin or Saison DuPont, but new ones abound this time of year--apparently even Stone has issued a very satisfying one this year.

    3) Hefeweizen. If you find a nice bier garten on a summer afternoon, you've found heaven.

    4) IPA. Designed for tropical climes.

I'm calling my summer the "Summer of Cans"! Here are my easy drinking summer beers:

Sly Fox Helles Lager with the 360 lid
Sixpoint Sweet Action in new slim cans
Otter Creek Fresh Slice (in cans of course)
Round Guys Fear of a Brett Planet (my funky summer can beer)

Just picked up some Frankenmuth Twisted Helles, great for summer. I've been wanting to try New Belgium Summer Helles also.

Oddly enough, I find Bell's Kalamazoo Stout to be very good in the summer heat, is is pretty light bodied for a stout.

FW Pivo Pils! Some batches are better than others (hops can be green and resinous in the mediocre bottles, and explosively floral and soft in the good ones). It's far from a world beater, but outside of Franconia it does the trick just fine. Gotta love the homage to Spalter Select hop (and Saphir, hell yes), because few if any breweries in the US use this beautiful hop.
