Found out from the brewery that Widmer is brewing/has brewed their Snow Plow again as part of their 30 year anniversary. My wife LOVES (or I guess I should say loved since they discontinued it several years ago); I have a ISO/FT out there but am wondering how hard it is to get this. The Mrs would love it if I could score some of this for her for the upcoming winter months.
It's the 1999 in the 30 for 30 and I think they just released the 1997 and 1998 bottles. I'd guess '99 will be out in 2-3 weeks and should be easy to find in Portland.
This post makes me wonder: why is there virtually no discussion of the Widmer 30 for 30? I've tried a few of the beers and was pretty impressed with them. I feel like this deserves its own thread ... which I will now create!
