    Thanks for the replies. I agree the Porland circuit is phenom, but I have done it before. My brother in law hasn't though - so I know it's a win-win, but it's just crazy that I'll be near Lovell for the second time in three years and miss this bar yet again! I sent a PM to Chris because why not, we'll see if anything happens!

    Things get kinda quiet at Eb's in Lovell in the winter when all the vacationers and second-home owners close up and head home. Hard to sustain a full staff in "the middle of nowhere" with a small cadre of locals to service off-season so it makes sense for them to curtail days & hours. The Brunswick brewpub is a godsend that time of year. My favorite day to go off-season in Lovell is Sunday when Chris is often manning the bar. When the snowmobilers start showing up on a good snow weekend, there are good times to be had!
