Anyone know of any special happenings this Friday/Saturday at any bars or breweries around Boston for this weekend?

Not sure about Friday/Saturday. Tomorrow there is a mini Against the Grain takeover at Row 34 plus the pre-EBF Throwdown at Tip Tap Room. I'm sure both will have some of the beers left by Fri/Sat.

We at Night Shift are releasing a new beer tonight at our brewery. 100% Brett fermented hoppy pale dry hopped with citra. 375mls, $8/per, limit 2 per person and they go on sale today at 5pm. Earlier this week we also released our Belgian Double IPA Citranation brewed with 100% citra hops. Enjoy Boston and see you all at EBF!

In the downtown Faneuil Hall area, Kinsale, Saus, Stoddard's, jm Curley, and the above-mentioned Tip Tap Room are usually the top recommended choices. Of those, Stoddard's is a little nicer, Kinsale an irish pub, and jm Curley a little trendy/hipstery (but with a great burger). Saus has only like 3 drafts (but usually something belgian/local) and is more of a nightcap waffle/dessert place.
