EBGA - Freeze Your Cask Off

    Glad you enjoyed the day. I'd say it was a good success, from our view point anyway. A lot of happy, smiling faces, another good crowd, of which at least 90% were new faces to EBGA events. The brewers did well with all their beers, and no one went mad with the alcohol levels either! And we didn't have to pour too much away at the end of the night.

    Really was a toss up, for me, between Alley Kat & Noresemen for best of the fest. Blending both beers made for a nice treat, too.

    It bodes well for another winter ale festival next year.

    Time to start planning for our main event in September now, and the street car events during spring/summer.

    I thought it was fantastic! I will be going to some of those summer events for me.

    I think my favourite was probably the Dandy Rauch Beer!

    I liked the Dandy when it was first being served; the coldness kept the smoke in check for me. But as it warmed during the day, and got to a proper serving temp, it got too smokey for me. Even with just 25% smoked malts. Smoked beers are just a style I can't get used to.
