So how about that party. Bell's oatmeal stout and Black Note, I was a happy camper. Thanks to Hop Head for grabbing my BN so I could stay with the kids. Great beer and great time.
So did that keg of Black Note kick amazingly fast or what? I just heard about it today and I am kicking my ass for not checking the social media yesterday.
Heard it was gone in 20 minutes (?). I didn't want to deal with the madness, so I spent the afternoon--evening at WFM (day 4). The bal aged Black Marlin was surprisingly tasty (dont care much for the regular version). Mass turnout of local brewers/reps plus some costumed fallout from the Monk. And BA Merkin plus FW15 left me looking for a spare liver... Oh, and I particularly liked the BJs Camaraderie.
Yeah, it was pretty crazy there. Seems like Thursday was the day for big events, would like to have hit whole foods too. Glad to have tried Black Note, great beer but not worth trading the bank for. Love me some Bell's for sure.
FTIL, you looked like y'all were having fun yesterday. Glad you could come out to P'go. A little warm but a great event/atmosphere!
It was an awesome time for sure. I was really impressed to say the least. The fact I got to drink some 120 on tap inside the bar was icing on the cake.
