I notice this is being sold at 50 50s 6th anniversary this saturday, but upon doing a search I couldn't find the amount bottled. I thought it was 500?

Anyone shed some light on this?

    I can't.

I'm more concerned about what the price will be than what the quantity was, but both would be nice info to have.

Well I shall relay the prices if they're that absurd come saturday. Thankfully I was mostly only planning on buying BART and Totality and Annularity for trade extras.

I really hope not. A beer should never approach the price of the spirit whose barrels it was aged in. That just seems wrong.

Of course, if you can get away with it, I'm going to look into making a Louis XIII barrel-aged barleywine. At $1500 a bottle, I'll be raking it in!

Looks like it was actually $200, but for a 5 bottle set that included PvW: http://www.flickr.com/photos/thesourcereno/7245813528/in/set-72157629839659872/lightbox/

It's the JD300 (300 days in the barrel). No wax, was done as a one off and there were only 10-12 cases hand bottled. Price? I haven't heard of price yet so I am out of the loop on that. Find me tomorrow and I'll crack a bottle of it...I want all to taste it prior to purchase. I haven't had it in years...

PVW final bottling was sold a few years back @ $125 mainly because it was in such demand.

Sadly, the Eclipse cellar has been corrupted and there is no way for us to assemble full 7 year verticals. So, some of the stash is being sold off.

I don't want to start a ruckus but there are 4 bottles only of the JD300...

As the story goes...the bottles walked off by themselves....

Man it was only $45? I was expecting way higher than that...
That's very unfortunate. Going to put some up at the party this year?
