IMO, not as good as the Elijah Craig variants but probably in my top 5 of those produced in numbers and distributed.

Is it weird that I don't want any of them except for the vanilla/Java one? I'm such a hater

I got a Elijah Craig. Haven't had it yet.

It seems that the Vanilla/Java is relevant to my interests.

    Or is it priced correctly?
Seems like they sell out but because of the price it is obtainable.
Doesn't that make priced right about right?

Would rather just buy the bottles whose casks were used to make said beer, really.

How's the Evan 23? That's the one that intrigues me the most. They all landed locally and I didn't pull the trigger fast enough. (I've already got a ton of eclipse lol) but that one sounds great. Excited to see how masterpiece stacks up with the series.

The party is great for all fans of this beer. You get to try damn near all of them side be side and really see what the barrel does. First year I missed the party, gonna make sure that doesn't happen again

To date I think the Elijah Craig 09 is my favorite, rebel yell was surprisingly stellar

EW 23 imo was the best variant this year. Spanish Rum was good, but Im just not crazy about rum BA beer. Vanilla java was good, but the vanilla didnt come through enough for me(only had it on tap). high west single malt was super peady!!! so if you enjoy your scotch like it you will dig it.

Masterpiece on draft was really good. Even better when it warmed up. It wasn't my fav of the night, but it was still really good.

Really sold out? where? I know places that still have them on the shelves and have multiple years that are available

They do sell out in areas, not in every location. A lot of bottle shops and bars, like to keep verticals and cellars, as well. The price is steep but variation is worth it every once in awhile. The good thing for all those unopened bottles is they aren't going bad, they're just getting better.

I worked through my bottles from 2011 over the past few months. They were, from best to least best: Four Roses, Elijah Craig 20, Grand Cru, and Brandy. I really enjoyed them all, and while I've passed them up for the past couple years, I might pick some up this year.
