Last year I found 3 different variants at Lighthouse Liquors in the Canton area of Baltimore but so far this year I haven't seen any.

If you want to shoot up an hour north of Baltimore to Red Lion, PA, Golden Crust pizza just got in a few.

Found some High West, Java, and Elijah Craig 12 bottles at, wait for it, Rodman's today for, wait for it again, $28.99!!! Are the powers that be finally listening to us? That's the cheapest I've seen Eclipse bottles anywhere. Keep it up, Rodman's. Maybe you can turn it around like Perfect Pour. Elijah Craig bottles are now all gone unless there are more in the back waiting to make an appearance.

That is a great price! I didn't think they ever sold for less than $30+

I've never seen them for less than 30 and when I saw them at Rodman's I tried to get one of the guys that isn't named Nolan to get me a price but he disappeared and I never saw him again. Took them to the register to find out and bail if the were over $33 and I saw $28.99 pop up. Bought two and ran before the price was changed to $39.99.

Perfect pour has 5 or 6 variants. Fucking expensive though

$35. I think they are missing four of the variants.

So I was in Perfect Pour on Sunday and I saw they still had 2 variants in (red and yellow wax), but I was shocked at how expensive they are ($35). I assumed this was a ridiculous markup, but then I did some searching on here and came across this thread and others, it appears that's about the standard price. Are these beers that good? If you've ever bought one for $30+, did you feel like it was worth it?

I was able to pick one up for 24.99 at Nick ' s of Clinton. I think they still have a couple left.

Ehhh... they are good, probably not totally worth the price tag, and I definitely wouldn't buy them frequently or try to scoop up as many variants as possible... but for maybe one or two bottles a year, sure why not? At the end of the day it's only thirty bucks.

Yeah if I had known at the time that they were that price everywhere, I probably would have bought one. If they're still there next time I go, does anyone have any suggestion on red vs yellow wax?

Red is the 4 Roses. Yellow is the Buffalo Trace. I haven't had either so I can't recommend one over the other. The eclipse color guide can be found here. www.fiftyfiftybrewing.com/style-guide/
