Eclipse EC 12 year - how do you tell the vintage?

    Hi guys,

    I am not really trading this bottle but thought I could get some help if I posted it here.

    I acquired a bottle of EC12 sometime in 2012 and I think it's 2011 vintage.

    Do you know how I can tell the vintage? Also, when does 50/50 release their Eclipse bottles during the year? For example, let's say my bottle is from 2011 - when during 2011 the bottle was released (or bottled?)

    It doesn't have the year written in marker?

    ^Yeah, bottom left on the front of the bottle it is written. They are released in early December

    I only have the 2012, but it has "2012" written on it. Not sure if older ones do that.

    Edit: Everyone above me already answered.

    I will have to double check when I get home. When I looked at it last night, I didn't see it but I was pretty intoxicated.

    I believe they started doing the bottle dating this year, previous years don't have dates. I think.

    It's on the bottle but the marker they use really rubs off quite easily.

    Guys - I am an idiot. It indeed is (clearly) marked "2011" on the bottle. Since it would have come out on December 2011, that makes this bottle about a year and a half old.
