    So really? No running post on futures day? Well, I got mine.

    Im having issues with the ordering process personally the sold out apple brandy is screwing with the ordering system for me.

    I would've left that one alone but wife expressed an interest it. OK. Maybe it surprises me. Or maybe she gets that one to herself.

    They may be sending out notifications but the bottles may reach you before the notification. Mine showed up in So Cal this morning without a prior notification. The fast shipping is nice though.

    Are these beers like Deshutes where they suggest sitting on them for some time?
    I just opened a vanilla and I can honestly say it is in the top 5 worst beers I have ever had. I paid $30 plus tax for that!
    It tasted like artificial vanilla extract, with that cloying alcohol and distant but not too distant fake vanilla taste.
    I've never been blown away by the eclipse series but this was the first one I ever drained pour. 1 of 2 beers I've ever drain poured.
    I'm so let down. I was expecting something like FO.

    Well that's a bummer... I really liked the vanilla one last year, and just got a 2016 vanilla today. Maybe I'll wait awhile to drink it.

    Haven't opened a 2016 Vanilla yet, but I thought 2015 was really disappointing compared to 2013 for similar reasons that you stated. Even 2013 wasn't as good as FO though, that's why don't see the crazy trade offers for it

    As to your other question, I usually let them sit 1-2 years (except Vanilla and Coffee.) Eclipse tends to be hot fresh
