Is there any hotel in waking distance?

 

Yes, should be a few. Of course it could be snowing. There looks like there is 3 within about 2 miles.

 

The Tahoe/Truckee Hotel or also know as the Larkspur is right next door. Very nice place and reasonably priced. Short walking distance. All you have to be concerned about is slipping on the icy sidewalks with heavy bourbon influence.

 

This is shaping up to be an awesome event! Looking forward to it!!

Btw if anyone knows of an extra ticket or two for the release dinner please let me know. I would do whatever I can for tix since I will already be in town. Also willing to trade for a pappi eclipse in case I can't get one at the release, have churchills fh, trace of remy, etc for trade

 

I hope there is some left over the next day, or java, but i'm guessing those will both be in limited supply.However anyone who goes, i'm sure will be able to get a bottle.

This my first Eclipse party and I am pretty excited! Just wondering what the protocol is. Is there a bottle share at the party? Is there a party share the night before? Staying at the Hotel Truckee. Pretty sure there won't be a bottle share after the party;-)

 

Bottle sharing allowed during the party. I can't fathom the idea of drinking directly before or after this event. My 3rd year. Awesome night.

 

3rd year. I know they allow bottle share before and during. I haven't participated just due to the fact that there is so much Eclipse to drink….

 

I was hoping to bring Darkness to share. But my money dried up entirely and I had to basically sell them to local BA's who missed out at retail. So I will be just enjoying the Eclipse at the party and crying I can't pickup any Pappy to brin gback to friends unless I win the lottery or have luck panhandling.
