Eclipse release party

I'm still kinda pissed I didn't get a ticket. I've been the last 2 years & feel somewhat let down.

 

I'm driving up early Thursday morning. This will be my second time and I'm hoping this year is as good if not better than last year

 

We will be up there Thursday just before the party. I can't freakin wait.

 

Got my ticket and will be making my usual late morning trip up from the Bay area. Been to all the previous parties and what a great time. Will likely bring up some bottles to share with my crew and anybody else i know. If anybody has any recommendations for a good burger and beer on the way up hwy 80 drop me a line. Done the auburn alehouse last few years and looking for a new place to build a base before drinking eclipse all night.

I'm out this year, as I am moving back to the midwest a couple weeks before the party. I hope to be back in the fold for 2013.

 

Indeed it is...luckily my tickets found a good home. We'll have to hook up at FFF once I get back.

 

I figured this was a good place to post this...

Looking for a veteran trader that is going to the release party (or picking up their bottles in person) that can help me out, by picking up my allotment at FiFtyFifty (8 bottles). My trading partner that helped me out last year has moved out of the area. In exchange I can send you a bottle of the Cigar City Imperial Sweet Stout (cognac aged) as a thank you. I will send a FedEx shipping label and some funds to cover a shipping box. Would also be interested in getting a few Eclipse snifters/tasting glasses, if possible.

I am definitely excited about being able to go again. Eclipse!! I know there will be a lot of people coming from all over as well, so I would like to set up a couple trades for anything from Three Floyds, Block 15, and anything from Alesmith(Speedway Variations). I do have some bigger wants like BA Speedway, Stone BA EL Camino, 3L 2011 EC18, Rye, or EC12 Eclipse, or PVW or Old Fitz 07 Eclipse. For my bigger wants I can offer up a T25, Iced Eclipse, and more. If anyone is interested in trading for locals and my bigger wants please let me know!!

 

I booked my flight and my rental car. Get in to Sacramento Wednesday night. Depending on the weather I'm either going up to Truckee Wednesday night or crashing on Abecall98's couch. He doesn't know this yet.

 

I can probably help you out with a BA Speedway but I won't know until tomorrow.

The wife and I are flying in from Virginia on Wednesday into SFO and going up to Santa Rosa to hit up Russian River before trekking over to Truckee on Thursday late morning. Thinking about bringing some Foothills/Hardywood Park/Jackie O's stuff to share. Can't wait for this trip!
