Eclipse release party

Perhaps I missed it in this thread, but was there a one-off version given to the attendees?

 

Coffee Eclipse

 

Is it just Totality with coffee or is it some type of barrel aged?

 

Elijah Craig 12 (300 day version) + Totality + French Roast Cold Toddy from Wood Fire Roasted Coffee Co. Reno, NV. = Coffee Eclipse

Is mellow corn going to hit distribution?

 

It was a 1-bottle limit at the party, so I seriously doubt it. I also doubt the Grand Cru will (seems like they put half of it into 3Ls...). The EC20 seems plausible for distro.

Anyway, that was a great time, thanks to everyone who shared beer, and definitely thanks to Andy, Alicia, and everyone else at 50-50 for putting on such an awesome event.

 

Everything was apparently unlimited today for bottles. I was told that Mellow Corn will be very limited distribution. EC20, Grand Cru, and Rebel Yell are brewery only.

I second your sentiments - thank you very much to everyone who shared with me it was an amazing night. I woke up today wishing I could have shared my bottles with more people - next time I suppose. It was great meeting a lot of new people and getting an opportunity to hang out with friends. Thanks to Alicia, Andy, and Todd for another great party! See y'all next year!

 

I believe this is going into distro as the beer buyer from my local bottle shop was invoiced for a case. He had no idea what it was and never heard of it, so he asked me if I knew anything about it, and this was about 3 weeks ago.

 

All right then.

The Mellow Corn is a Heaven Hill product. There is a great media piece on the HH website. Easy to find once you get past the age verification.

This variant was offered to distributors only and we held a little back for sales at the brewery. We have entered several new markets and all or almost all got 10-20 cases.

 

What was the final tap list? Gonna be any leftovers on tap tomorrow??
