Weii, living up here in Truckee I should have known better than to think the weather would do what it is supposed to do... It is now snowing up here 6000ft and it is thick heavy wet snow.

All bets off for now on weather. Sorry about jumping the gun...

 

No worries, any one driving to Truckee in December who isn't prepared for snow, shouldn't be driving to Truckee!

 

I wonder how the CHP would feel about somebody drifting a Jeep through the corners on I-80. I'd only do that under 35 though. That's the speed where the back end comes around really fast.

 

I'm looking for a someone who's driving up from the LA area and would be interested in picking up my Bruery beers from my trustee. I can hook you up with some cool beers and cases of Sierra Nevada. BM me if interested.

 

Have wax colors been chosen? I'm assuming they are going to stay consistent, but what about new variants.

Sounds great Todd. Will there be bottle limits on sales of the EC 20 and the Grand Cru at the party?

I will be heading to the party without Chad this year but he will be there in spirit. I plan on bringing some Lou Pepe Kriek and Fou Foune, possibly a Blabaer and some older Lost Abbey Veritas.

 

Is anyone getting extremely excited while simultaneously repeatedly forgetting that it's in just three days?

First timer here, very much looking forward to Thursday evening. Will be heading to the party with my buddy and his lady. Don't have much in the way of vintage Cantillon/3F to bring, but will definitely bust out some nice bottles out of the cellar to share. Zwanze on Saturday and Eclipse on Thursday...definitely been a good start to the month of December for beer drinking. Look forward to meeting everyone in a few days.

 

Glad I'm not the only one - pretty sure this is the most excited I've ever been for a beer event. Would love to bring something to contribute but we're flying up and packing light. I'll be there with the wife and 2 good buddies...better not forget the credit card either...

 

If there's any available space in your complex, I think I'd like to open a pawn shop/pay day loan right next door to you. . .

Yes, just one type. Grand Cru. Which was blended with just three variants this time.

EC12 from 2011, Mellow Corn(American Corn Whiskey 'distillery 2nd use barrel') and Evan Williams.

Though there are similar components the proportions are completely different and still dynamic at this point. I might add another barrel(of an undisclosed barrel type)

 

How much beer is too much beer. I keep looking for 3 specific bottles and seem to be pulling other bottles on my search. I guess it's good that I'm flying instead of driving. I can only take what fits in my checked bag(s).

 

I think 3 is plenty. I will probably be bringing 2-3 and a couple for my guest to bring. There will be way too much beer anyway
