It's great. very aggressive. My experience is you get sour char. in less than half the time of the roeselare blend. Just grabbed another as well, as it seems to be a diff. blend than what I have on hand now.

I've used Wyeast 3278 in the past and thought it was pretty mediocre. I had to use a handful of different bottle dregs to add some complexity. Hopefully BugFarm is better!

I just grabbed one. I've been hit by the sour bug, so I'm sure I'll start doing more sours in the future. Will start keeping some around to bottle and age since I've gotten my beer gun set up and it will make it easier.

Now to find a recipe to put together for it....

That's pretty easy... the waiting is the hardest part!

I can do that. I've got a 2 year old RIS and 10.5 month old RIS in kegs currently, and just kegged up a 4 or 5 month old BA scotch ale.

Obviously I could take a sour MUCH longer, but hey, baby steps. Anyone care to share a recipe for something? I love a flander/flemish red, something similar to Oude Tart from Bruery would be fan-fuckin-tastic.
