    Hey guys,

Christmas present of the Edgestar 2000. I hooked it all up. Tripled checked everything. Tapped the Keg and no beer. Nothing. I had the pressure from 4-10 lbs testing it. I get air when I pull the pin. Keg is cold been sitting for 24 hours. When I pull the handle I get nothing. No beer in the the lines at all. Tapped it a few times, I get spillage out when i mess with it, it's not frozen. No air out of the handle, no beer, nada. I watched the videos, read the manual, triple checked it all. Wife double checked me.

    Any guesses? Anything obvious?

Are you pulling the lever down on the coupler after you rotate it into the keg? How about the connections - CO2 into the side of the coupler with a gas check valve in between the line and coupler, beer line out the top of the coupler with a washer?

Yep and tripled checked, I even had the wife watch the video and follow everything on the kergerator to double check me. When then disassembled it and tried again. Same thing nothing. I know I am getting air to the keg due to the pin. Handle is down and tapped. I see no fluid/beer what so ever on the top hose going to the handle, I assume I should have. Nothing when i use the handle.

make sure you did not accidentally install the Thomas valve on the beer side. it is a little rubber doo hickey that is installed at the seal of the gas line to the coupler.

be sure you did not freeze your beer.
finally, call the dealer. those guys got paid and they should be able to help you. Good luck.

Valve is gas side, rubber washer beer side, beer is liquid, wife will be calling when I am at work today.

it is possible, but very unlikely, that you have a D coupler on a Euro S keg.

man we are getting into the weeds here...

    what kind of beer?

That was going to be my next question. OP - a D probe deployed is shorter than an S probe and if the keg and coupler are mismatched, the D coupler your unit likely came with will not extend far enough down to work with an S keg.

Spent all morning researching and you guys are 100% correct. Newcastle Brown Ale takes a S coupler and the kit came with a D couple, I will be driving to get one in a few hours, thanks all for the help.

Would have to cancel Christmas if you couldn't have beer!!!!:grimacing:

On a side note with owning a kegerator start a box of spare parts for emergencies, fitting and tap changes. You never know when a washer or something, clamp or something will need a change.
