Headed here for the week, seems to be something of a craft beer wasteland but figured I'd check - any stores or restaurants with decent selections? Or would I have to head towards Charleston?

sorry for the bad news lol but you hit that nail directly on the head!

Like NC we’re blessed with a lot of beaches, all of which have a different flavor. For SC, Edisto is my favorite of the lot precisely because there’s nothing to do - you HAVE to relax. I mean there’s a handful of restaurants, a couple shops and a golf course, but compared to some other nearby islands (think Hilton Head) yes, it’s a positive wasteland (but in a good way) and that includes beer.

They might have a handful of SC brews at the ONE grocery store, and the restaurants may have a couple of choices as well. But as you mention, Charleston and all its infinite possibilities are only an hour away, give or take depending on your target. HHI/Bluffton is about twice that. Things change of course if you have a boat.

When I go (couple times/year) my strategy is stock up ahead of time or bring some of those bottles I’ve been meaning to get to, then spend the time relaxing in a very serious and intentional way -
    Enjoy your trip!

Thanks for the response! This is exactly what we did and it worked out great. I did stop by Shellring too and enjoyed everything
