Editing forum posts?

    Is there some sort of limit on how often you can use the edit function here or something? Because I seem to have lost the ability to do so after editing a post yesterday...

    Hmm, it's back for this topic, but I still can't edit other posts. I would assume that maybe you can only edit a post for a certain amount of time, but I was unable to do so earlier for a pretty fresh post. Maybe it's that you can only edit starter topics, but not replies?

    Nope. that doesn't seem to be it either. Would really appreciate it if someone could shed some light on the intricacies of the edit function here for me, thanks. I'm guessing you only have a really short time window for edits, like maybe 5 minutes or something?

    There is a time limit - I don't recall if it is five minutes or ten minutes, but there is certainly a time limit on the edit function for posts. You can edit reviews any time you want, but not posts.

    I think you are correct, sir. I just tested my post from 12 minutes ago and it is still open.
