Guys, I'm heading to Edmonton for a 2 day training course. I'm looking for a few pubs with some good beers (on tap preferred )and a few beer stores to hit up. I loves my IPA's. Thanks in advance.
My two faves in the city are Three Boars and Accent Lounge, sure other people will jump in. Know that Craft Beer Market rocks a great selection haven't made it there yet.
If you have a car the best store to hit is Sherbrooke Liquor. You came at a good time since Stone just hit, lots of bottles and growlers available. Accent's my favorite and they have Stone on tap, as does Three Boars. Sugarbowl is in the same area and has good selection too. Downtown there's Underground, Craft Beer Market and Beer Revolution.
Sugar Bowl, Accent, Three Boars, Next Act are all awesome. If you are there during the week it shouldn't be a problem getting in. Weekends can be a bit tricky.
I'm just getting to know Edmonton myself and will check out these pubs upon my next visit, but I'd like to add that the Chateau Louis Liquor Store on Kingsway has a great beer selection as well!
