Going to be there for a few days next month for work. I checked Places and see a couple local spots. Any recommendations on places to visit? I will have a car, though I'd like to keep the driving to within 20 minutes.

Crazy Mountain is just ok, but probably the best bet for a brewery in Edwards (Gore Range has beers, but...). Towards Vail, I mostly like Vail Brewing Company. Going the other way, I like the vibe, but not necessarily the beers, at Bonfire in Eagle.

Its more than 20 minutes from Edwards, but one of my favorite high country options is Outer Range, which is about 45 minutes or an hour to the east in Frisco. Casey is about an hour away to the west in Glenwood Springs too.

    Didn't consider Vail Brewing. Thanks!

I was pleased with Vail Brewing when there this past summer.

Never been but if I was in Edwards I would definitely hit up Crazy Mountain, though I totally agree with @spoony that their beer is nothing special...but also isn't bad, IMO. And I used to really like their ESB (haven't had it for years to know how its tasting these days).

There's a new restaurant in Edwards called Craftsman that should have a pretty solid tap list.
