Hey everyone, I am escorting my grandmother to a cousins wedding in Edwards, Colorado this summer. Are there any decent bottle shops in Edwards or should I plan to make the trip to Vail? I might be able to convince her to stop someplace in Denver if the shops there are in a completely different league but am wary of coming across an obsessed alcoholic. Any advice you could give would be much appreciated, Cheers! Tristan
Crazy Mountain Brewery is in Edwards. Never been there myself, but if I were in Edwards and the opportunity presented, I would hit them up. Not the best Colorado brewery but they can brew some decent beers. In particular, I am a fan of their Boohai Red Ale and Horseshoes and Grenades ESB.
Crazy mountain is the biggest in the area. Gore range is about a mile from there. Best beer in the valley is from bonfire in eagle and you can find bombers of their more limited releases at a couple stores in Edwards. There are a couple of nice bottle shops in the valley as well that always have some gems Applejack a is right on the way up. If you make one stop, you should probably go there. Mr B's is a little further off your path and smaller but has a great selection but that might me one stop too many
Agreed with Bonfire being great, and Crazy Mtn is DEF. worth the visit, fun place and you wouldn't even have to leave town.
