    Forgotten Island, 15% ABV

"Deep brown to mahogany, this dark complex ale originated in Trappist monasteries throughout Belgium. It was sipped by Trappist monks during fasting and Winter months. Quadrupel is the strongest denomination of monastic beer. It shadows tripel, dubbel and single styles of Belgian ale, many of which were produced at Trappist monasteries as well. Forgotten Island is aged in Appleton rum barrels, originating from Jamaica. This distillery makes the oldest barrel-aged rum in the world. The barrel lends notes of vanilla, molasses, orange peel, cocoa, brown sugar, nutmeg, hazelnut, apricot and peach. This plethora of flavors and aromas from the rum barrels intermingles with banana, clove, cinnamon, fig, plum and brown sugar aromatics and flavors from the quadrupel, creating a crescendo of elegance in a long flavorful finale."

Forgotten Island will be available in the tasting room starting Wednesday, August 7th at 11am exclusively to El Catador Club members. When retrieving your bottle, please have your member card and I.D. ready to make things easier for our bartenders (trustees can just show their I.D.). Also, keep in mind that during peak hours it may take a bit of time to get your bottle.

There will be additional bottles available for purchase! However we have not yet determined an exact date we will sell them. We will announce that soon via email. They will be sold first-come-first-serve online.

    Cheers!
