El Catador first beer poll!

here's a tip by the way guys: if you're a trustee for so many people that you need us to provide a list for you of all of the people because you can't keep track of them all, maybe you shouldn't be a trustee for so many people

not aiming this at anyone in particular of course

 

Seems like if someone trustees for a large list of people, they should bring said list, with their catador names and ID#'s, for CCB's convenience. I only trustee for 2, but I made sure to do so as I don't believe the bartender should have to waste time trying to figure that out for me.

 

I would have felt so bad going in there with out my little list on my phone. But next time I will probably just write them down instead of spelling out each last name.

 

I'm trusteeing for a few people but am not going to be picking up until the extra bottles are released - what would make it easiest for the bartender? Just a list of names? Or would their ID number help a lot?

I'm sure this has been answered somewhere that I didn't see, but does anyone know if Cigar City will hold the extra allotment bottles until the 30 day post last bottle release also? The only information I could find mentioned two weeks but I believe that was before the vote on how they would sell them.

Well, I don't foresee all 5 being released quickly... Afterall, a BA Huna is one of the 5, so unless they are sitting on an extra 1500 bottles of Cali Brandy Huna I don't expect that we'll be seeing another BA Huna until May or June of next year....

 

I was really hoping that they were sitting on some hunahpu in a barrel extra long but I doubt it. I'm hoping that things like the good gourd Almighty aren't part of it and they surprise us with something like a capricho batch 6!

 

Yeah, I really hope they surprise us too instead of the beers we are all expecting. Even if the don't have a label approved and just do a hand written bottle.

Hopefully Wakefield is in the house this month making some Hopped Up Johnnie for an El Catador release.
