It's also never been barrel aged previously. I'd be surprised to see it hit distro.

Yeah, they've never distributed a BA beer (as far as i know), so i doubt Batch 6 does.

The way they're talking about the cost of these barrels I doubt it'll hit distro. I heard they were looking to get $30 a bottle for 110k based off the cost of the port barrels. Who knows how true that is tho

110K+OT Batch 2 was barrel-aged and also hit distro. Purchased a bottle at the Whole Foods around the corner from CCB.

    Depends on net volume too.

There was a portion of Batch 2 that was BA but I'm fairly certain it was brewery only. Regular batch 2 was aged on cedar if I remember correctly and did get distributed.

I wish they just acquire the rights to Voodoo Maple Bacon Doughnut and age it in old rainwater barrels. This is what my palate hungers for.

Edit: I have no explanation for my snarkiness today. Also I am not drunk currently.

Correct, I picked up a handful of the regular bottles at Total Wine. But some time later I walked into the Whole Foods and they had bottles of the Barrel Aged version on the shelf

Gunhaver said a few months back they've never really distributed BA beers. So i am not sure, i know I've never seen any.

Nice. I just remember getting mine at the brewery. I didn't know they sent any out to Whole Foods.

Ccb has never distributed a BA brew. It's not gonna start with 110k #6. Good gourd almighty will be released like gates of hell, theres too much of that stuff to be a catador beer, just my $.02. The first beer is either gonna be 110 k or don gavino's.

Are the catador beers exclusive to catador members, or are we just guaranteed bottles of beer that will also be released to the public?

I took it as the latter.

I think at least a couple will be for us only. Or hoping at least.

Yeah it does, now I have to look at that hauntingly beautiful baby picture again

It's looking more and more like good gourd almighty will be the first release. I am basing this statement on pure hearsay and conjecture, and there is no better evidence than that

It depends on how big the yield and how many extras we buy. I hope the amount of extras correlates to the yield, so if everyone buys their extras then it becomes a Catador exclusive.

    I'm guessing not.
