    Fixed this for you:
    -You got no confirmation because you didn't place your order correctly.
    -Other guy probably has a confirmation in his spam folder.
    -Guy was offered extra bottle because of miscommunication in a loud bar.
    -Catador Club director said (as nicely as possible) some people don't know how properly place an order on the Internet.

    As someone who works in customer service and technical support, I can attest to the validity of this post. Furthermore, people are generally idiots. I'm talking to one right now (on the phone at work)

    This is exactly why I secure my pickup by paying for it at the time I get the invite to buy my bottles. That way if there is a screw up there is a charge on my card that proves I already paid for it and I can pick it up whenever I want. The "reserve now/pay later" never works out in my favor.

    Well, except last night, where I could have walked away with an extra bottle of 110K+OT, but respectfully declined.

    That could have been your bottle.

    Of course, you could have always gotten a refund... but you'd still be left without your 110K.... and the OT. :wink:

    I stick to posting on Facebook most of the time for El Catador issues. It's much more personal, fun for me and not moderated by the bros. I enjoy pointing out how brain dead people can be or how illiterate they are since they can see my real name and picture. Some one even said my hat was kewl in a sarcastic tone and called me, "brah." Close this thread and post your user errors on Facebook!!!

    I agree, lock it up. I'm smart enough to run a restaurant, make my own beer, but too dumb to put a password and code in a interweb netter site thing'a'ma'tweeter spot.
