Having to head up there for work, and wondering if there were any good bottle shops / bars in El Dorado or the surrounding area? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
My wife's family is from up that way. I always check out Timberlane Wine and Spirits. Nice selection for that area.
My mom talks about El Dorado, Ark like it was hell on earth. They lived there for a couple years when they first got married.
I just moved back to OK from El Dorado five months ago. I'm originally from Central AR and had been living in Tulsa when I transferred there for a job seven years ago. I couldn't stomach living there all that much--it's that much different than Little Rock. That being said, Timberlane wine and spirits did a great job of easing the pain. Great selection for the area. They always made sure I had my favorites in stock. Great people and they really try to promote craft beer. That and one hamburger joint (Minute Man) are about all I miss about that place (besides a few dear friends, who are transplants themselves).
