I believe any of their beers that have been released in cans, YOU CANNOT get fills of. You can try calling them, but like every other brewery they don't answer the phones...

Just drive over to RiiP today, much closer as well and fill up Crowlers of Lords Of Fogtown, trust me, it’s worth your drive. I just dropped in and grabbed more Crowlers.

    Cheers

Awesome Alex, I have a few different Monkish cans tucked away, I'll make sure to hold one for you, we can meet up when you get back, I really would like to try this new one as It doesn't have any lactose in it and I believe the next one will.

    Cheers,

So just had a friend recommend these guys and mention what a ***tshow it's going to be this weekend. Looked on their instagram and sure enough, people talking about 300-400+ easily, jokes about people camping overnight or showing up at 5am.

I've been out of the state for a bit but are these guys really the "new" Monkish Southern California brewery? People really lining up 4+ hours early for their releases?

Happy to see them succeeding, but daaaaaamn.

I think it's the labels. That death knight mascot gets all the hazeboiz a chub apparently.

Their labels scream IE. I’ve liked some of their non lactose beers. The rest not so much

Their cans and beers, once poured, are very IG friendly. That certainly helps feed hype these days. I've had a handful of their beers now and they've been good. Not remotely tempted to drive up there from San Diego for cans, as we have plenty already locally that IMO are better and far more consistent.

Electric has certainty stepped up their game. For me, I feel like the change came when they stopped using all those cryo powders in their beers. The grassy taste they used to have is gone. The last batch of cognitive dissonance they put out was phenomenal. But standing in line for 4 hours for 2 4 packs, maybe 3 is just laughable. I kinda miss the old electric days though. Used to stop in all the time when travelling from SD to Idyllwild

Ha! I wasn't gonna go there in a non-MT thread but it's true. Online sales and no lines and (usually) plenty available even after the pre-sale. And there are tons of bangers on tap, always. I don't understand the need/want to wait in line for anything, anywhere.

Electric has all the hype behind it right now
MT does make tremendous beer especially at the production level they are at.
If there was no line, what would we HazeBroz do with ourselves. Lines are what bring us together :joy:

I think DDH MT5! and this months Unlike Birds and Tiger Millionaire are as good if not better than Monkish IMHO and I love me my Monkish. More importantly it proves that world class beers can be had without line's and the negative optic overhyping put's on the face of craft beer.

    Cheers,
