This poll conducted by the Austin Business Journal shows that Texans overwhelmingly favor having the ability to directly purchase vehicles from automaker Tesla. While this website makes an excellent point in that the poll was potentially swayed by multiple votes from single voters, the information is pretty common sense. In the land of free enterprise, why should the state be able to tell us as consumers how we purchase goods?

If this action results in a modification of TX law to allow Tesla to sell directly to consumers, will this action set a precedent for the brewing industry and make a stronger case for brewers to have more control over how they sell their products to end consumers?

    Doubtful.

Remember, wineries can sell directly to consumers in TX already. They can also mail it to you, too.
