Elevation Brewing Apis IV in Denver

Same here. With the release of the AC Golden sours coming up, it seems like a barrel aged kind of week.

 

Just ordered 2 cases...not exactly sure when they'll be here, but this week. I'm guessing thursday

 

gonna sample some in about 20 min

 

Whats the deal on this beer? Style?

What does it cost and has anyone tasted it?

 

$9.99 for 750 cage/cork suggested retail. It's pretty good. I had one at work--um, to, y'know, sample it--but will tweak my review once I have another. For some reason beers taste better at home. I'll probably have it next to a Rochefort 10 (my fav) to compare/contrast. I think the BA version will be out in July (around $14.99)

 

Thought about stopping by Joys for this today but ended up at Argonauts since it was more convenient. Unfortunately, Argonaut didn't have it yet. Ended up with Pliny instead which is is fine, but I was really in the mood for a checking a quad out.

 

I think Thursday is the main delivery date. Rep was in Monday to give samples and orders, will drive back to pick up the beer, and return to Denver area after. So, probably Thursday, more probably Friday

 

Its a good sweet, yet strong beer. Best one I tasted at their opening. Their IPA was good too.
