I seriously can't think of any three beer styles I'd be willing to give up. Perhaps AAL's but I'd miss the hell out of anything else.

You, more than anyone else I have witnessed on these forums, seem to have a huge grudge with the East Coast. Why?

Eliminating any style is blasphemy!!! The amount of choice and styles is why craft beer is awesome. Winos only wish they had as many options.

Why would I want to eliminate any styles? If you want to drink something I don't enjoy, go right ahead.
    I refuse to participate.

Coffee beers, Pumpkin beers, and the 22oz bottle format would face my firing squad.

    I would eliminate the following:

    Fruit Wheat Beers(that aren't sours)
Hefeweizen(cause summer doesn't need them when we have perfectly good saisons)
    Light lagers of any sort

I thought this was going to be more of a eliminate three styles that are over classified and simplify the classification of beer styles. As in we don't need quad when Belgian Strong Dark Ale will do, and American Imperial Stout vs Russian Imperial Stout do we really need both couldn't it just be one Imperial Stout category. the only style I really agree with eliminating would be American Adjunct Lager.

Imperial Pils - why? It's a Pils, it doesn't need to be pumped up on steroids.
Fruit Beers - hate em, even the pumpkin ones

so you can sleep well at night knowing that if granted the power you'd wipe these beers, among many, many others, off the face of the earth?

anchorage love buzz, dupont aves les bons voeux, saison dupont
big foot, old stock, old ruffian (i'm not even going to mention all the barrel aged versions of this style)
alesmith ipa, two hearted, sculpin, blind pig, nelson

how about we eliminate 3 BAs instead of three beer styles? you're first. we'll do consensus voting on the next two.
