Anyone got the low down on whats going in their first cans? Keep seeing posts on social media about a release but no word yet on what. The suspense is killing me. Also, anybody know if they bought a canning line or if they're using Michigan Mobile Canning?

They have their own canning line. Their FB page made it sound like it would be You Can Get With That Juice sometime next week. If so, that would be awesome.

Juice would be fantastic. Also glad to hear its their own line. Nothing against the mobile canning outfit but the whole nature of having the canning line come to the brewery periodically seems to lend itself to less than optimal freshness. Kudos to Ellison for taking the plunge on their own equipment. Bring on the You Can Get With That Juice freshies!

Are you in town already? If so would highly reccomend stopping at Ale Mary's in Royal Oak. Just tapped Brandy Barrel Ten Fidy, Rum barrel and bourbon as well.

Damn those Royal Oak prices! But I'd do it anyway for that Brandy.

No, I'm not there til the 25th...and my buddy sent me a picture of the menu showing all those on tap. That's a hell of a pull for them to get all those on tap. I don't think we've even seen the regular BA on tap here in Chicago yet. I didn't move to Chicago to behind the Detroit area on BA beers!!!

At this point I'm trying to figure out what "scraps" I can find in MI on the 26th-28th while I'm there and driving back to Chicago. Ellison will probably be out of their cans, Transient will be out of their new releases...just as well since I jus bought a car, which will severely hinder my beer & wine budget. Good thing I've been storing up in my bunker!

Bet Transient will still have Resinate. Maybe doing fills or JIL too?

Should be juice going into cans and then I can't remember the other one. Maybe crescent fresh? Don't quote me on that. I was there a week ago talking with Aaron about it.

Thanks for the info/opinion. It's so easy to stop off at Transient that it's certainly worth me checking in at the time. I honestly might prefer Resinate anyway, as I've at JIL already.

According to the Facebook video I just watched there is going to be three offerings in cans. One of them being Dawn Street Pale Ale. The other two remain a mystery.

Had a JUICE and a Dawn Street from cans last night. Have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by the Dawn Street. Very solid, very crushable pale ale.
