    Going to be in Elmira NY for work for a month or so. Any good beer stores or bars anyone can recommend?

    Jolly Farmer in Waverly or Finger Lakes Beverage Center in Ithaca. Ithaca will also have the better bars. Also check out the Finger Lakes Beer Trail map, the Cayuga Lake wine trail map and the Seneca Lake Wine Trail map.

    You could drive to those places, but expect driving 30-40 minutes each way. Upstate is there and they are solid on tap/growlers. The beer does taste different when it's from the cans. I'm assuming might be issues with the mobile canner.

    So there's no good beer stores right in the town of Elmira ? I know I'll be there April 1 so was wondering if I'll be able to get kbs anywhere.

    Lewis Bros Market in Horseheads might be good to check out.

    Jolly Farmer is 20 minutes from Elmira. They already sent out an email that they will be getting KBS. I went there for BCBS day, arrived 15-20 minutes after they opened, and there was nobody in there. First one to get BCBS. I think maybe two more people came in during the 15 minutes I was there.
