If we are chiming in on absolute worst presentation methods, I once drank a blend of Bud Light and Soju out of a toilet plunger for some sort of ceremonial cause while visiting Osan AB in Korea. No worries though, from what I understand (or was promised....), the plunger's only purpose was for the ceremony and not for actual plumbing duties.

Aside from that moment, as a frequent traveler with poor packing skills, the hotel plastic cups are always an unfortunate part of life. I think my most egregious example of using an opaque, 6 ounce plastic cup centered around a growler of Minotaur Musk during a Columbus trip.

Saturday night I was at a hotel in Chicago and poured a can of Revolution Anti Hero into a paper "grab and go" coffee cup that was next to the coffee maker in my room. I left the lid off though. Tasted just fine to me!

I repurposed an empty Dasani water bottle....

Cut the top off with my pocket knife, and proceeeded to pour Solstice D'Hiver Barley wine into it.
    Shortly followed by Peche Mortel.

    Beautiful experience.

My only rule I try not to break, is to not drink Belgian ales and wheat beers straight from the bottle. Simply because I feel this actually can drastically alter the taste of the beer.

In the case of Belgians, I prefer to decant, and taste the yeast separately. With wheat beers, the bottle conditioned yeast adds A LOT of character to the beer when poured in.

I suppose in the case of wheat beers, you could turn the bottle upside down a few times, but I still think it wouldn't be the same. Plus, more than a few people in this thread have creative ways of creating "glassware".

I'd rather drink my Hefeweizen out of a plunger than the bottle.

I'll drink Parabola out of any cup I can find, can't fault you there!

I've drank Hunahpu straight from the bottle while out kayaking in the hot Miami sun.

I don't get the fuss...if I am at home I will reach for what kind of glass I want. and that changes by mood as well, regardless of the beer. if I am out and about, I will take whatever I can get my hands on. all else fails...I have zero problem drinking even a parabola from the bottle.

That's some trailer park boys level stuff right there. You're lucky it wasn't swish you were drinking.

I think I'm developing a split personality when it comes to beer nowadays - when I'm reviewing and when I'm not.

Reviewer me: hmmm, I am quite curious about what kind of head Milwaukee's Best will have, I had better pour this into my teku...

Otherwise: oh sweet, some FW Parabola, lemme get my red solo cup!

I had a day of drinking Hopslam out of a hotel coffee cup while walking around Frankenmuth during their snowfest last year.

Not my proudest, but was still delicious.

Welcome, friend! If you look at the top menu bar on the site, you'll see "beers". In the list that drops down, there are links for "beer styles" and "beer 101". Both of those will give you good information on glassware. I'd start with Beer 101, there's a lot of great stuff in there.

I've been served Two Hearted in a frosted mug before. IPA Slushie is not a pleasant experience in the slightest.
