Those of you that collect empties... Just ones you've emptied or any rare bottle? I've got a stack of more interesting bottles (Armand Seasons, Blauw, Framboos, Malvasia Rosso, Cantillon Kriek 1996, Blaeber, etc). Thought they might have more value to someone than the $0.10 CA redemption value. Though honestly they're more likely to have the labels washed off & get recycled for homebrew.
Maybe just offer them up to people on the FT/ISO forum. I am sure someone would like a couple of them.
I think so, for instance, a Blåbær that got opened with 3-4 people but only one of those kept the empty, someone might want an empty for their own collection
Nah, why would I want a bottle that I haven't tasted? I save the labels off beers I enjoy a lot and stick them on my instruments, but they are all beers I have consumed.
It's a bit like having album covers without the vinyl. No real point to it. Maybe ok to fill a background shelf in a bar.
Yeah I'm not sure if there is a question here or what, but here's my input. I started keeping empty DFH brews that I drank myself. I always liked their labels and am a big fan...then recently I just started keeping anything interesting or not that common that I drank but I've already ran out of room and have more that aren't pictured. Sorry for quality...my lighting sucks in my apartment.
I kept my Proprietors bottle.... mostly because I loved it and it was incredibly difficult to acquire. Maybe I'll do the same with others in the future. I am kind of kicking myself I didn't do the same with some others, especially to add to the man room
