I guess I'll be stopping by on Saturday after Freetail. Doesn't seem like I'll need to rush.

That's three more days for the hops to die! Has anyone tried this yet? Is it worth buying more than a bottle or two?

As long as they didn't tinker with the recipe its worth buying a few. A little on the malty side, but very good.

Mike I think you're pretty far off on this. Not at all on the malty side- in fact, light/medium bodied and actually is a little light on the malt backbone. I got mango, peach, papaya in the malt. Try it fresh man...it's a different experience. Very solid IIPA.

Ya'll are both confusing me. Sounded like miikezombie was referring to the original DR11. Did you just describe the flavors of the new Endeavor, 'cause I don't recall that many tropical fruit flavors in the DR11.

Was talking about DR11 as we haven't received Endeavor yet. Either way it was my personal opinion. If ya disagree ya disagree.

Is it just me or does it taste different? I had the 11 fresh and this doesn't taste the same. Not saying it's bad just different.

For us Austin folks, Whip In had it earlier today...and they'll have several kegs on tap soon as well.

Smith St. SPECS had plenty in Houston, but they didn't send any cases out to any other locations as of this early afternoon. However, they were selling it by the bottle OR by the case, so the boyfriend and I split a case for $58 and some odd change. HEBs are probably the way to go if you can't make it into Houston for SPECS or D&Q. Also stopped in and picked up a few other random bottles of stuff from Brandon @D&Q, can't not go there to see what there is when I am down in town, it'll always be my favorite go-to spot. :grinning:

    A full on case? Wow.

HEB Bunker Hill had plenty around 5pm. Picked up two bottles.

I had it on tap at the Saucer earlier tonight and it is damn good. Defiantly in the ballpark of the best of the style of super citrus DIPAs.

Don't think there're too many BAs in College Station, but I just got word that our Specs just got 10 cases. Looking forward to picking some up.

Picked up a couple of bottles at Sunrise Mini-mart in Austin this afternoon. It looked like they had about 3 cases on the floor.

Also, HEB on Far West has the Barrel Aged Old Rasputin.

Does not really compare to the high quality of DR11, but still pretty good and inexpensive enough to enjoy from time to time.
