Hello everyone, anyone know a store that has a good selection of English Ales in the Spokane WA area or 20 30 mins out? I have only been to Total Wine as far as a pure liquor store goes and there selection is lean.. Thanks W
I was just at Huckleberry's Saturday and they had an English section. Their general craft beer stock is so good I stop there every time I pass through Spokane. I'm not a local, and hopefully there will be other suggestions from BAs in the area, but they are a beer destination for me. The truth is that many stores in Washington have similar selections because a finite number of import breweries are permitted by the LCB or whatever it is now, so Huckleberry's may not have anything TW doesn't have (I'm not familiar with the one in Spokane). Thank you so much! I'm actually out of state as well. They have my favorites though with what I hope good regularity. Samuel Smith and English Style Ales are pretty popular, Newcastle Left Hand.
Does Machine House send beer over to Spokane? They're a WA brewery but the head brewer/owner is from England and specializes in English cask ale.
Machine House, from Seattle, has been doing some limited bottling recently, not sure if any gets over to Spokane, but if you see it, grab it.
