I am lucky to live in Kansas City and always have enjoy by in reach. Stone seems to alternate it's distribution each month from Kansas to Missouri. I have had each batch for the last 3 months and i I Gotta say this one was disappointing compared to the last 3 months batches. The 12.13.13 seems to have more of an alchahol burn and it's not as fruit forward or balanced. I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed.
To me every batch tastes different. The last one Kentucky got (forget which batch it was) had too much onion/garlic flavors for me, but the 12.13.13 I had a couple of nights ago was a return to form of good fruity, dank flavors. Out of all of the Enjoy By s I've had though there was always an alcohol burn, which isn't surprising considering how strong the beer is.
I know they're the same beer every time, and I've only had 10.25.13 and 12.13.13. However, I must say I enjoyed the 10.25.13 noticeably more…the 12.13.13 was solid but just not as balanced or citrusy. The hops were there but something seemed off
Loved the 10.25.13. Not so much for the 12.13.13. 10.25 felt like punch in the mouth(a good one), 12.13 was kinda meh.
