Enjoy By at Costco

How many wrongs does it take to make a right?

 

Its not cold enough. 50F cellar temps is the incorrect temp for storing IPAs.

I'll put on my ninja suit and bring two thermometers (dial and digital) into Costco this weekend and see what temps they're at. Mission Valley location. Which is hell on earth, and thus too warm.

 

from Stone I only drink the IRS and Enjoy By. I find the rest of their lineup pedestrian and their one-offs a mess.

Big fan of Colby at Ballast Point. But not his pepper beers. Very excited to see what is cranked out of the new expiremental brewery in Little Italy. Had a keg of Sculpin at my wedding. Bigger fan of Dorado Double when brewed correctly.

Alesmith is also a fantastic brewery, had Nautical But Brown at my wedding as well. Peter and Bill and the rest of the gang crank out fantastic beer. A usual stop on a brewery tour.

Mission Brewery sucks, I've been there twice and won't return.

 

So, Stone at Costco in Signal Hill sold out. Where else can I find it?

 

As a math nerd, I'd like to see some numbers/spreadsheet showing where breweries make the most dollar for my dollar, outside of internet bullshit.
