This enjoy by series seems to have spread across the nation extremely fast this time. Usually I can't get it on the east coast til about 2-3 weeks in. 8 days old this time. Did you guys notice this too? It is much appreciated. Thanks Stone!

So the "Enjoy By" is usually only 4-5 weeks post bottling? I never realized that is the norm. That seems extremely aggressive and awesome that Stone takes that challenge on for us consumers who want our IPAs fresh. I used to bash Stone in years past but I'm now a fan of many of their new beers (and their generally business ethics and models of excellence).

I've had great batches and poor batches in non sequential order. The beer is never the same for better or worse. It's always pretty good though.

Just got mine today in NJ. It arrived at some point during the week at my local shop. Not as quick as you've noted above, and we don't get them all. Was happy to finally see Enjoy After by me in NJ for the first time.

Breaking news, guys. This is sudden, and tragic...

    ...

It tastes the same as the previous batches.

Yea, Enjoy By is over a year old now and distributed across the country. The newness/rarity factor is WAY down. Definitely has an impact on the taste of the beer.

It's here in MA. I'll be grabbing a 6 pack and enjoying it fresher, fresh, and maybe at the enjoy by mark.

When they released the Unfiltered bottling I was shocked that it was shipped on a Sunday and started hitting the shelves here in the Raleigh, NC area that Friday. 6 days to go from the West coast to the East coast in the throws of winter... WOW. This version is good and I believe it meets the dank characteristic it promotes but I'll still take the Unfiltered version over it. Really looking forward to the Tangerine release in May. Just in time for the warm weather.
