ENKI Relevance Citra IPA

    Has anyone had this? I must be spoiled with Pseudo Sue. Enkis is 99 ibu and 5.1% abv. The nose had no floral notes and it came off to bitter with an off aftertaste. On the bright side, the Mocha Porter was excellent.

    The only beer that I have really enjoyed from Enki was the mocha porter, but that was over a year ago. I had hoped that their new "session" IPA would be good, but it doesn't sound like it ended up being what I expected it to be. I had planned on making the long trek out to Victoria to check this one out, but now it seems as though I'd be better off saving myself the time and gas.

    I'm definitely not an expert but there wasn't any of the citrus\mango
    aroma I've gotten from sue and other citra hopped beers. I'm still hoping they can put out some winners as the brewery is somewhat local.

    It is a Citra beer so I will not be drinking any. What else did they have on tap?
