What kind of things do people send for football swag?

 

Hint#1 - Lives in a part of the country where there are seven major shopping malls in a 25 sq. mile radius
Hint#2 - Target has posted in many other forums on here
Hint#3 - My target lives in a city where my brother in law(the one I'm not fond of) used to live
Hint#4 - This is not my targets firs BIF that has to do with sports

 

I went to ebay and bought something interesting. I wanted to send something that is not available in a store.

 

hint: NFLSHOP Finally had my package get delivered. boxing up tonight and it'll go out tomorrow! Shipping south!

 

Shit. My football swag arrived, and it broke in transit. It's a really clean break at a weak point, and it would be easily glued back together. Now, I could obviously send it back and get and refund and buy something else, but then I won't have the swag in time. I didn't pay much for the item (shipping was more than the item cost), and it's coolness factor far outweighs the monetary value. I'm confident that this will be one of the more creative football swag items received. In the interest of full disclosure, I'm going to send it to my target anyways, with my apologies. I'm confident you will still appreciate it.

The item features a Chicago-born retired player who, while definitely a star during his long tenure with your team, had his ups and downs in popularity - although given the typical attitude of fans of your team, that could probably be said for any player who has ever played for said team.

I considered fixing it myself, but it would in all likelihood break again in transit to you. If the league thinks I'm not doing the right thing here, let me know and I will get something else. But in all seriousness, I really think this item will be well-received, even in it's imperfect (and easily fixable) condition.

 

To my target -- football swag and beer/swag will be coming in two separate shipments. Football swag set to hit no later than Aug. 22. Beer and beer swag will be shipped tomorrow -- should hit porch on Thursday.
